Older iPhones continue to be in demand in India solely due to the aspirational value attached to iPhones in the country. However, if you bought an older iPhone model for a lesser price then Apple has got a bad news for you. Apple has introduced iOS 13 for iPhones along with a brand new operating system for iPads called iPadOS. The new operating system for iPhones and iPads brings in a lot of new features, however, not all iPhones or iPads will get the new iOS 13 update. For most older iPhones, Apple is dropping software support altogether.
Apple has announced that the latest iOS 13 will be available for iPhone 6s and later while the iPadOS will be released for iPad Air 2 and later, all iPad Pro models, iPad 5th generation and later and iPad mini 4 and later. As far as watchOS 6 update is concerned, it will be available for Apple Watch Series 1 and later. So, if you are using any of these Apple device then you will not get iOS 13 update and you might have to upgrade to a newer Apple device.
