So, here are the steps that you need to take to search your lost iPhone using an Android handset.

Using an Android smartphone to track an iPhone is not rocket science but one should have all the necessary settings tweaked in the iPhone to make it work. Here are the steps:

1.In the Android smartphone open Chrome browser.

2.Log on to iCloud.com and fill your Apple ID and password.

3.Using the ‘Find my iPhone’ app locate your iPhone.

4.Once logged in, you can enable Lost Mode and even erase the device remotely so the data doesn’t reach into the hands of a wrong person.

It is worth adding that Android mobile browsers don’t support the iCloud.com mobile website. So, you can tap on the three-dot option and open the desktop version of the website to get going.

Make sure that you log in to the website in the browser using the incognito mode so your personal information doesn’t go anywhere else. Also, log out once you’re done.

If in case you have PC around you, it is possible to search your iPhone using that as well. In all probability, you must have logged-in in a Google app like Gmail, on your iPhone. If you have, it is possible to track your iPhone. Here are the following steps:

1.Open an incognito tab in the Chrome browser and visit account.google.com.

2.Under ‘Sign-in & Security’ select ‘Find your phone’. This will show you all the smartphones that are connected to your Google account. The list includes iPhones as well.
